Privacy policy (logging)

The web server of CLARA@eu is operated by Bayerisches Landesamt für Statistik und Datenverarbeitung (webmaster@www.bayern.de), Neuhauser Str. 8, 80331 München, Postal address: 80228 München.

The following data is saved at Bayerisches Landesamt für Statistik und Datenverarbeitung during each request of an internet file:

the page from which the file has been requested
the name of the requested file
date and time of the request
the ammount of transferred data
status of access (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
the description of the web browser and of the operating system used
the IP address of the requesting computer.

The saved data is needed only for technical and statistical purposes; there is no comparison with other data sets and no transfer of data in whole or in part to others.

Cookies or JAVA applets may be used on the CLARA@eu website. The use of that technology can be deactivated by the user in his browser settings.

The logged data is deleted after the annual access statistics have been evaluated. Evalutation is carried out monthly and annually, the data is deleted in January of the following year. The data is evaluated and deleted by employees of Bayerisches Landesamt für Statistik und Datenverarbeitung on behalf of CLARA@eu.

If you want to send an e-mail with content worthy of protection, we strongly suggest to encrypt it in order to avoid unauthorized notice and tampering during the transfer.
